Anna J. Sachs, CPA, CDFA
Anna Sachs, a Certified Public Accountant, has been with Savran Benson LLP since 2000. She is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and a Certified Quickbooks® Professional Advisor, and is licensed as a CPA in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina. She has worked in the areas of tax and accounting since 1987. Prior to joining Savran Benson, Anna was the manager of a regional office's accounting division for a consulting firm specializing in accounting, tax, and consulting for physician clients.
Ms. Sachs is in charge of many administrative aspects of managing our firm including Information Technology. She also manages our Quickbooks® Consulting division and works closely with many of our physician, real estate, and professional services clients. Anna is experienced in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation, as well as accounting and management issues for our clients.
Ms. Sachs has obtained her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst TM designation, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute for Certified Public Accountant's peer to peer consultation service specializing in divorce taxation. Anna has worked on many marital dispute cases and has testified in the Montgomery County courts.
Ms. Sachs is a graduate of Randolph Macon Woman's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and holds an Associate's Degree in Accounting.
Ms. Sachs is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes for Certified Public Accountants where she is a member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the PICPA. She is an active member of the Philadelphia Young CPA's and Community Service committees, as well as the state wide Young CPA's task force and the state wide Divorce conference planning committee. Anna is a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts and The National Society of Accountants.
Ms. Sachs is active in the community as a member of The Rotary Club of Ardmore and Rotary International. Anna serves as the Budget and Accounting chair for the Ardmore club's community service projects and is an active member on several of the club's community service committees as well as the club's Audit and Finance committee and chairperson of the club's Annual Club Social committee. Anna was formerly a member in The National Exchange Club and served as a local club President and as a board member and district director. Anna has authored and edited articles, which have appeared in the national publication Exchange Today, and has spoken locally and nationally on a variety of topics pertaining to accounting, technology, and community service.
Anna is fond of ballroom dancing and long walks, and enjoys reading, music, and international travel. She currently resides in Ardmore.
